Daruma Tech Speaks to App-titude Students at MODS

On Tuesday, January 14th, Daruma Tech’s Founder, Rob Kennedy, had the honor of speaking at the Museum of Discovery & Science (MODS). Rob took the stage in front of this summer’s APP-titude students to discuss project management, app development and what to expect during their upcoming internship. This fun and interactive session featured lots of educational information, encouragement and smiles!

The MODS App-titude Internship Program is offered by The Salah Foundation STEM Center for Education and Career Development and is underwritten by United Way of Broward County. It’s purpose is to expose high school students to careers in computer science and engineering.

Daruma Tech has worked with MODS and the APP-titude students to create a mobile app which allows the student’s projects to be demo’d by interns and visitors. These projects focus on museum exhibits and feature elements such as augmented reality and video experiences. Learn more about the MODS Mobile App.
